Now that we've reached the point of 5 contenders for the AFF World Championship Title, we're going to stretch out the tournament a bit. Over the next four episodes of Saturday Night AFF we'll be whittling down those contenders in preparation for our first big Free-Per-Read event:

BUMPOOFBASH!

We're very excited to bring you all this wrestling action, but while the anticipation is all for finding out who moves on, we have some other matches to show off some of the wrestlers who got knocked out of earlier rounds that you may have forgotten about, as well as introducing some tag team matches! We're hope you're excited for the first official episode of Saturday Night AFF!

Tonight's Card

  1. Jason Dedmond shows off his training routine
  2. Count Hammerli Von Fluker goes up against an unknown named Babushka
  3. The introductory episode of our new interview segment, Atlas Plugs with Twanette Atlas
  4. Tag-team match between the Powerhouse Ponies and the Mecha Nicks
  5. And finally, our main event:

  6. Beard-O vs. Volcanos fighting to stay in the SNAFF WCT tournament!

Dead End's Training Montage

We catch up eith Jason Dedmond showing off his training routine, interspersed with shots of his humiliating defeat and subsequent callout by Beard-O. These should be very motivating. He's not very impressive though. Looks like maybe he could use a few workout tips.

Count Von Fluker vs. Babushka

We don't really know who Babushka is. It's just some guy who likes the word? Does he know that Babushka means grandma?

Anyway, Count Hammerli is not looking very hot here in this match either, you'd think he was a jobber himself. Maybe winning the title was the only thing that mattered to him and it's not worth trying if he got knocked out already?

Rating: Squash/5

Interview: Atlas Plugs

We'd like to introduce our interviewer here at the AFF. She is Twanette Atlas and she looks buff enough to tussle with the guys. Maybe she'll get her chance. Anyway she's excited to open the first episode of Atlas Plugs with the biggest star of the AFF: Hector Puleo! He may not be a contender for the championship, but he is very much a household name even outside of wrestling with multiple TV appearances.

We wait for him to come through the curtain...

and wait...

and wait...

The curtain moves aside and out comes Bolt Bickford instead! He says that Hector got double booked and couldn't make it. Atlas is annoyed, but Bolt Bickford provides an excellent interview instead.

2v2: Mecha Nicks vs. Powerhouse Ponies

The Powerhouse Ponies are out first. They're Flawless Justice and Steel Rain. These appear to be 2 colorful, man-sized, yet muscular horses, and Steel Rain even has wings. I didn't think we'd jump the shark so fast with actual fantastic creatures.

While they're making their entrance, a man dressed like a victorian gentleman runs in! He has a top hat with a pair of brass goggles with gears glued to them randomly wrapped around the brim. It's Nick Dickinson of the Mecha Nicks! He smashes a steel chair into Steel Rain's head twice! His teammate Nick Scarborough follows in, wearing a grubby train engineer's outfit. He's covered in coaldust and oil stains, and wears similar goggles. He throws his hands in the air showing his team's superiority and the oversized wrench he carries around with him.

The match starts with Flawless Justice and Nicolas Scarborough in first. Justice clubs Scarborough with his hoof, grabs him, and holds while tagging in Steel Rain and they double-team the Nick. Scarborough gets Steel Rain in a head vice, but too close to Flawless Justice who gets a few hits in from the side. Steel catches Scarborough with a quick turnbuckle smash. He bounces off the rope in a flying clothesline, but gets grabbed by Nick Dickinson from the edge of the ring. Dickinson is yelling for Scarborough to tag but Steel Rain flashes a stun gun and a fast pin to Scarborough instead. The Nick barely kicks out at 2.5. Scarborough grabs his oversized wrench and whacks Steel Rain's knee.

Flawless Justice manages to grab the wrench and gallop away! Scarborough chases after him to get it back, but forgets to tag back out. The referee is counting, and Nick catches up to the pony, retrieving his wrench and both of them rush back to the ring. While Scarborough doesn't tag out, Steel Rain does, and Flawless Justice hits a bell clap and attempts to pin. Kick out at 1. Flawless Justice actually bites Scarborough and pins him again! 1! 2! 3! The bite works and the Poerhouse Ponies are the winners!

Nicholas Scarborough argues with his teammate Nicholas Dickinson for a bit about tagging out, but finally grabs the mic. If the ponies want the wrench so badly, The Mecha Nicks will be happy to give them one! In a steel cage! At Bumpoofbash!

Match Time: 15:04

Before the final commercial break we get a chance to catch up with Colorful Romero, who still looks visibly shaken after his run-in with the commissioner last week. What did the commissioner do to him?

Main Event: Beard-O vs. Volcanos

Our main event is starting and Beard-O gives Volcanos the big boot to start. Are those boots loaded? He catches Volcanos in a cobra clutch into a bulldog. Volcanos reverses into a huge face driver followed up with a spinning cobra clutch of his own.

Meanwhile Volcanos' wife Setsuna has grabbed Beard-O's textbook and is starting to tear pages out of it! I think something we're learning tonight is that you should leave your belongings in the locker room when you're wrestling in the AFF. Beard-O is chasing and yelling at Setsuna outside the ring while she gleefully leaves a literal paper trail behind her. I hope that's not the latest edition of that book, Beard-O will never get any return on that now. Perhaps it is the latest one because he is much more worried about getting his textbook back than he is about the AFF WCT and gets counted out by the referee! Volcanos wins and Beard-O is scratched off the contenders list!

Beard-O looks mad now while Volcanos and his wife embrace in the ring, but it's his own fault for getting distracted.

Match Time: 8:34

So with that, uh... interesting set of matches we bid farewell to you tonight. We'll see you next week for Saturday Night Action feud Federation Wrestling!
